Herding Cats
When you are a Troll, you don't have to worry about mice infesting your house; you worry about cats sneaking through cat holes. A story on the many perspectives and points of view of life.
Everyone loves Troll stories, especially when they are not about Russian kids in their bedrooms pulling your chain on social media. Here is a story about how a Troll saved one person's farm with some simple advice.

Bjorn and the Jersey Devil
So there are many misconceptions about who and what the Jersey Devil is. Was he a marketing scheme of Benjamin Franklin or a real cryptid walking among the pine trees?
The Troll and the Bear
(Story from Trolls: a Compendium)
In Højegaard, the place with the high yard, Denmark, in the old days no one could stay over Christmas Eve. All the folk had to go down to the old farm in Rønnebæk, which has long been given up, and stay there till Christmas morning, for every Christmas Eve there came an ugly Troll from Dragehøi (dragon hay), with a sackful of toads on his back, which he roasted at the fire in the sitting room, and ate one after another; but if anyone ventured to stay there over night, he might be prepared to be torn in pieces by the Troll.
One time, just as the folk were leaving the farm, there came a woodcutter who went about with his bear, Bjarki. They told him why they had to leave, but the woodcutter asked to be allowed to stay overnight, and the bear insisted.
Towards evening, the Troll sat down by the fire and toasted one toad after the other.
“Toad,” said the man.
The Troll took a roasted toad and held it out to the bear, saying, “Toad shall have a toad,” but Bjarki the bear growled and began to rise.
“Yes,” said the man to the Troll, “just you take care and not make him angry, or he’ll tear you in pieces.”
The Troll looked quite frightened and asked, “Have you any more like him?”
“Yes,” said the man, “this one has five young ones, which are lying outside on the baking oven.”
The Troll made haste to tie up the toads he had left in the sack, threw them on his back, and went out the door in a hurry.
The next morning, when the people came home, the woodcutter was lying all right in the bed and the bear was beside the fire, both quite comfortable. When the man told them how he had gotten on, they were very glad and bade him come again next Christmas Eve, which he did, but the Troll did not come and has never shown himself there since.

Civilized Dragons...Coming Soon
Imagine dragons of various species walking about in a forgotten time where they towered over the buildings of man as wind powered hovercraft float under their noses.
When do Pigs Fly? At least a long, long, time ago...
Civilized Dragons...Coming Soon
Imagine a world where not all dragons have bat wings but are feathered and moth- or butterfly-shaped. A time when they towered over skyscrapers that had sunk into the sand before the pyramids were built.
How about a Bobcat-Dragon?
Civilized Dragons...Coming Soon
Do all dragons have bat wings? Only in Dungeons & Dragons. Are there cities older than Göbekli Tepe? How long ago did the deserts of Africa and the Middle East swallow them?
A new story from Trollheim!
Skyscrapers, Dragons, Oh My!
Bears and Trolls
Civilized Dragons...Coming Soon
As civilizations advance, they begin to make items biodegradable. We know man made rope 50,000 years ago, but we only have examples that survive from 5,000 years ago. What else has been buried under the sands of time? The various lineages of humanity stretch back 4 million years. What is more foolish to believe? That civilization only existed for the last 5,000 years, or that multiple civilizations grew and collapsed for the other 3,905,000 years. Did man sit in trees scratching his back for almost 4,000,000 years and then decide to make the computer at the last minute?
What did the dragons look like back in the day?
Trolls in the Studio
Among the shelves of the studio are various Trolls. There are wooden ones made by Henning such as the Sweetum in the first picture. Also there are Dam and Norfins by Dam released in the 80s. The original ones were made in teh 60s by Thams Dam. There are vintage Disney Seven Dwarves and a candle Troll. Plus some souveiner Viking Trolls made ou of fur and wood.Other Trolls out of view were made by Ken Arensbak with the acorns for hats and Chestnuts for noses (Mice like eating them) and Nyforms.
What Trolls are around your house?

Universal Man by Richard Aliberti is still doing strong with its release on Leonardo da' Vinci's 500th Anniversary year. We are also looking forward to finishing up "Don't Invade Russia" by Cory McNeil which will be released around November. It is the tale of an alternative Universe where Stalingrad falls through time to nineteenth century to start the Steel Empire which begins to loom over Europe. Will the powers that be convince Jane Wilkes Booth to kill the emperor? Who knows but it is a great comic historical narrative.

Welcome back to my blog about balloons, rocket ships, airplanes, space travel, Star Wars, sci-fi, and everything about flying! This time we will look at some of my favorite space pilots. After you read the list, won't you add some of your favorites!
10 of My Favorite Space Jockeys
10. Maya from Space 1999. I think she was the first redhead I fell in love with. I would share my balloons with her any day. Maya was a metamorph who could shape shift into a mean ape like creature when she wanted. In that shape she might even get Chewbacca to fall in love with her. She also piloted my favorite space ship of all time the Eagle.
9. Flash Gordon. In 1936 Buster Crabbe had played him in a serial. I used to watch this every Saturday leading into Tom Baker's Doctor Who. He also flew one of my favorite space age pulp fiction rockets.
8. Hawk from Buck Rogers. He also had one of the coolest ships. I always wanted him to hang out with Hawk from Spencer from Hire. Imagine if Commander Cisco was more like Hawk, Deep Space Nine would of been bad ass.. Excuse me.
7. Pappy Boyington From Ba Ba Black Sheep. Now this man got to fly the coolest real plane ever! What more do you have to say! This is the real guy the show was based on!
6. Starbuck from Battlestar Galatica. Card playing, rogue, playboy. He was what Han Solo could of been. Plus he had a cool ride.
5. Sky Captain from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Great humor and great plane. Humor and modesty always wins me over. Even if he had a little thing on the side with Angela Jolie...
4. Mark from Battle of the Planets. Cool bird costume. He stands up a bit above Jason, Jason came off like he wanted to be Han Solo.
3.Nick Ryder from Riptide. You have to be cool to be able to play off the fact you a flying a pink belching helicopter named Mimi.
2.MacReady from The Thing. Granted he only flew the helicopter rarely in The Thing, but he is one of the coolest characters ever. Specially how he tells off the alien in the end before he throws a stick of dynamite at him. (My father is watching me now, I got away with cursing once already...)
1. Captain Kirk from Star Trek. Do I have to say more...
